Larkin: (on Guiding Light) The best soap romance I had, which still stands to date, was one Kim [Zimmer] and I had in what were known as the "Yonder barn shows." The way we got there was kind of goofy - I think we ended up being kidnapped and kicked out of an airplane with parachutes, and we crashed through the roof of this barn. We had this lovely series of scenes in which the two of us just led this very simple life and learned to love each other for who we were as opposed to back in Springfield. (edit)
Larkin: (on his fondest Christmas memory) At 12-years-old on Christmas, I received something that I had always wanted... an electric guitar. There it was under the Christmas tree, all wrapped up. I had always wanted to play just like The Beatles' George Harrison. I took lessons, played in a band, and eventually passed it on the my nephews. (edit)
